Patient Relations

Your Patient Advocate

St. Mary Medical Center is committed to providing you and your loved ones a respectful and positive healthcare experience. We want to ensure that you and your family are provided with safe, high quality, compassionate care.

If you or a family member has a question or concern about your hospital stay, please let us know. We suggest you first discuss your concerns with your nurse, department manager and your doctor. If your concern remains unresolved, the Patient Advocate is available to help you reach a resolution or provide more information.

The Patient Advocate can assist you in the following ways:

  • Receive compliments for extraordinary staff members
  • Facilitate communication with your healthcare team
  • Address care concerns for you and your family
  • Bridge the gap where you feel your expectations have not been met
  • Report lost personal items

Our Patient Advocate welcomes your calls and emails. After hours, on weekends and on holidays, a nursing supervisor can assist you.
